If you are looking for a fun, safe environment for your child to learn Irish in then Coláiste na nGael Óg is the right school. It can be difficult to learn Irish if you are not surrounded by it on a daily basis. Our courses are fully immersive and offer your child the chance to speak and learn Irish in an authentic environment.

Our Services

LANGUAGES | TEANGA

Irish must be spoken at all times while attending the school, we want our students to have a fully immersive experience.

EXCURSIONS | TURAS

Our Students will have the opportunity to go on a tour for a day. The children help us choose a fun and appropriate tour.

TRAVEL | TAISTEAL

Parents must organise their own transport. Car pooling is highly recommended.

APPLICATION | FOIRM IARRATAIS

Each student is required to fill in an application form to ensure their place on the course.

A native Irish speaker from Spiddal, Co Galway. She spent 9 years teaching in Ráth Cairn.

College Founder - Eithne Uí Cheallacháin

A native speaker with a B.Ed and a Masters in Irish from St. Patricks College, Dromcondra.

Tríona Ní Chualáin

I'm a secondary school teacher who teaches English and Irish to students ranging from 1st-6th year.
